WALK 106: Thompson Common

(This is part of the Pingo trail, but it is also a walk you can do separately)

Managed by The Norfolk Wildlife Trust Thompson Common is home to 400 Pingo pools! Offering unique wildlife opportunities from birds to amphibians. You may even spot Britain’s rarest frog: Pelophylax Lessonae. It is also one of the top locations for dragonflies! The 6.3 hectare Thompson Water was created in 1845 as a trout fishery.

The walk itself is not circular, however there is so much to see I’m sure you won’t mind going back on yourself.

Please make sure you keep your dogs on leads.
