How Hill may ring a bell in some people’s minds, it’s a common Norfolk school trip location. With plenty to do and see, easily a day of discoveries at your fingertips.
How Hill was designed by Thomas Boardman in 1904, and is now run by the Broads Authority and The How Hill Trust - established in 1984.
The secret gardens and The house gardens are absolutely beautiful, they are the perfect place for a sit down, or a game of hide and seek. Toad Hall Cottage is open from April to October offering a small museum and ice creams.
We made our way to Ludham , along the broads, and stopped off for a takeaway tea and cake from The Wayfarers Cafe.
There is a public car park, toilets and it is a dog friendly location (on leads).
