What a beautiful day!
I finally managed to find Horsford woods after my attempt last week. It’s not signposted very well so be careful when you go!
It was an amazing discovery, and I cannot believe it was my first time exploring! It was absolutely beautiful with a tremendous amount of pine trees!
There are lots of different paths for you to enjoy and explore, we did our own circular route. Some areas are quite muddy, so bare that in mind.
Forestry England will be doing some conservation management over the next two winters in order to restore the habitats of rare plants and animals, which is exciting!
There is a very small car park, and it is dog friendly.
