What an amazing walk today! Bawsey Country Park is a selection of picturesque lakes created from disused sand and gravel pits, it is located in West Norfolk. This walk is a perfect adventure, with a bit of something for everyone. There is a Scandinavian feel to the area, with absolutely beautiful scenery. There are multiple walks to choose from big or small. There is also a multitude of terrain and heights - one side note, if going with little ones, keep an eye as there are sudden drops.
It is a very popular place in the summer for picnics and BBQs, with a lot of areas to relax either with a picnic blanket or on the picnic benches provided. I cannot recommend this walk enough! There is a pay and display car park.
