Walk 8: Wensum Park

Wensum Park is a beautiful location, and a new find for myself, there are a range of environments for everyone to enjoy, from woodland, grass and river areas. There are aspects like a typical park, but then it also locates itself on the River Wensum, allowing you to sit and reflect and enjoy watching the ducks and ducklings as well as the odd canoe. Aldi and Home Bargains are next door, so if you did fancy a snack, or a picnic to take to the park, they are easily accessible. The park opened in 1925, and was designed by Captain Sandys-Winsch.

Parking is limited, there is no specific car park, so you will have to find a space on the road.
