Once part of Ketteringham Hall Estate, Ladybelt Country Park is a former sand/gravel quarry, hidden off of Hethersett Road. There are a choice of walks and it is a great place for an adventure. If you would like to, you can download a copy of the map from their website, but the signposts are quite clear for the red path.
A new walk for myself, and it was lovely! Their was a mixture of woodland and meadows with benches throughout, one key feature I loved about this place is that their is educational information throughout, keeping kids occupied such as a bug hotel, the icehouse, sculptures, wild flower and butterfly spotters. It is a great place for bird watching, and wildlife watching in general.
