I visited one of my favourite beaches, it holds closely a lot of family memories for me. Winterton-on-Sea is a small village on coast of Norfolk, it is truly beautiful. The village also has pubs for you to enjoy a cold pint. If you are looking to go somewhere without the hustle and bustle that places like Cromer and Great Yarmouth bring, then it is a must. The water was clear and the temperature was just right. There were a lot of seals enjoying the water and the sane dunes are great for exploring. The beach is dog friendly and there is a lovely cafe and toilets!
Winterton is a former fishing village, located on the East Norfolk coast, famous for it's beautiful dunes and nature reserve. The beach it completely unspoilt, so make sure you clean up any rubbish you leave. Sadly the Dunes cafe was was recently demolished, after it became a danger due to erosion, it was a lovely place.
