I seemed to forget how much natural elements Norwich City Centre holds. The "city" status was gained in 1094, and was the biggest city within England, behind London. Norwich is the most complete medieval city in the UK, take a walk down Elm Hill and Tombland, where you can explore the cobbled streets and historical architecture. One aspect of Norwich that should be mentioned is the market, Norwich holds the largest permanent undercover market in Europe, and offers a range of independent businesses, from food to vintage clothing. Chances are, if there is something you need, you will be able to find it on the market. In 2016, Norwich was voted the "happiest city to work in" by the Guardian, and in 2018/19/20 was voted one of the best places to live by The Sunday Times.
There are two shopping centres within Norwich:
1. The Castle Quarter, which is an entertainment area: cinema, bowling, arcades, escape rooms etc.
2. which used to be a chocolate factory. This centre holds most of top brand shops, as Chantry Place (previously known as Chapel field) well as restaurants.
