WALK 107: Buxton Heath

Buxton Heath is a beautiful area hidden within the village of Hevingham! It is managed by The Norfolk Wildlife Trust and the Buxton Heath Wildlife Group. It is a grade 2 nature conservation review site and is a place of scientific interest!

There is lots of wildlife to see, we spotted cows, horses and...I would like to stress please stick to the paths, we didn’t (as you can see from the Fitbit map) and we ended up in marshland full of spiders and spiders webs which resulted in soaking wet muddy shoes and a panicky me!

There are no toilets and dogs must be kept on a lead! It’s a beautiful destination! There is a very small car park. There is no map so take note of where you are going!
